They accept queries by snail mail and email. For queries via the post office, please make sure to include a SASE for a reply. They will respond to queries within six weeks.

For fiction and narrative nonfiction, please send a query letter, which should include a brief overview of your project, previous publications, if any, and any relevant information about you. Also, send the first chapter, as it’s the writing that really helps us connect with your manuscript.

Writers desirous of having their work handled by the agency should first send a one- or two-page query letter directed to an agent on staff.
